DESCRIPTION:
This 18th century piece features graceful scrolled feet rising to soft feather carvings, shaped sides, a boldly carved apron rail and vivacious carvings on the drawer fronts. The piece has its original hardware, including locks that do not currently have their keys. The carving quality is superb and the piece is in very good condition. The drawers are currenly lined in fabric, and can be re-lined if desired. The color of the commode is excellent...French fruitwood at its best!
