DESCRIPTION:
This spectacular piece has a lower bombe chest with boldly curved drawers with rosettes, corner elements, sides and feet. The upper cabinet has carved decoration on the front corner elements, and in the center of the nicely shaped crown. The piece has glazed doors and unusual side lights with rosettes. The cabinet has its old hardware, a secret compartment and an intriguing painted finish that resembles ivory. The piece has some wood shrinkage and a broken pane of glass which will be repaired.
